Ticonderoga Central School District Announces New Superintendent

The Board of Education is pleased to announce Mr. Scott Nephew as the finalist to become the district’s new superintendent of schools effective July 1, 2023. The official appointment took place at their regular meeting on March 21, 2023.

After an extensive search process including interviews with a number of representatives from within the school and the greater community we are excited to welcome Mr. Nephew to this new role. 

Mr. Nephew has been a proven leader in the district. His core values and solid ethics have been well established throughout his nineteen years serving the district, first as a teacher, coach, lead teacher and most recently as elementary principal for three years.

Being well known throughout the district, he has been described as thoughtful, knowledgeable, easily approachable, kind and yet strong.  All strengths he will bring to his new role and responsibilities.
