Mask Requirement Change

As per New York State Department of Health: 

Masks remain mandatory on buses and inside of school buildings.

Masks are no longer required to be worn when outdoors on school property.

Social distancing and mandatory health screening remain in effect.

Emergency Broadband Benefit Program

The FCC has opened the application for the Emergency Broadband Benefit program which will provide a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price.  This discount will be available until 6 months after the pandemic has ended, or until the money runs out.  Please click the hyperlink below to be taken to the website with information regarding this program.

There will be no school for the Ticonderoga Central School District and St. Mary’s on the below dates due to the fact that there are unused snow/emergency days for the 2020-21 school year:

  • No School – Friday, May 28, 2021
  • No School – Tuesday, June 1, 2021* (TCSD only, St. Mary's will be in session)
  • No School – Friday, June 25, 2021

*Should an emergency day be used before May 28th TCSD will be in school on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

2021-2022 School Calendar
UPK & Kindergarten Registration

Families in the school district who wish to have their children enrolled in the Universal Pre-Kindergarten program or Kindergarten are asked to contact the Elementary School office at 585-7400, ext. 2210.  Screening for students will take place in May. 


Children who turn four(4) on or before December 1, 2021, may attend pre-kindergarten in September 2021.  Pre-kindergarten classes will run five days per week, either mornings or afternoons, with breakfasts and lunches provided. 


Children who turn five(5) on or before December 1, 2021, may attend kindergarten in September 2021.  Children who turn six(6) on or before December 1, 2021, must attend school from the start of classes in September 2021.  Children who turn six(6) after December 1, 2021, must begin school no later than the first day of session in September of 2022.
