Professional Development & Emergency Drill (Early Dismissal/Delayed Start for Students)

The Ticonderoga Central School District faculty will have Professional Development through the year, requiring an early dismissal or delayed start for students, on the following dates:

Guidance for Identifying Close Contacts of Positive Cases

Note-Changes for the 2021-2022 School Year: ECHD follows CDC, NYS Education Department, and NYSDOH guidance for identifying close contacts of positive cases. In general, a close contact is anyone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period. In the P-12 indoor classroom setting, the CDC specifies that students who were within 3 to 6 feet of an infected student where both students were engaged in consistent and correct use of well-fitting masks are not considered close contacts and do not need to quarantine. Additionally, fully vaccinated individuals are not considered close contacts and are not subject to quarantine, unless they are symptomatic.

Retiree Waiver Notification to Taxpayers

Notice to all resident taxpayers under Section 211 of Retirement and Social Security Law and 80-5.5 of Commissioner’s Regulations.


This notice is to advise you that Cynthia Ford-Johnston has been approved for employment as the Ticonderoga CSD Interim Superintendent pursuant to the law and regulations noted above.  Her compensation will be $600.00 per diem for the of the (2021-22) school year.  She will receive no additional benefits.
